Jacob Aki serves as the Director of Communications for the Hawaiʻi State

Senate. Prior to this role, he served as the Chief of Staff to Senate Majority

Leader J. Kalani English. 

​

He graduated from the Kamehameha Schools and received his bachelors

degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Jacob also received an 

M.A. in Political Communications from The George Washington University.
